What do you guys and girls think about the latest Minecraft updates?

I like 1.7 but Im fine with 1.8

1.7 is mostly for pvp.
1.8 is as well, but 1.7 was really mainly for Pvp, block hitting, and as you can see, once you fight a guy he will say "come 1v1 at 1.7 kid" or "It's cause I can't block hit" oh well, that's how they complain.
1.9-1.10 are bad versions imo, and hard to pvp.. (Some people might like just to build or so..)
1.12 is hard to fight as well, but as you can see, some people might like it just to build or to use it on their singleplayer worlds..)\

Edit:
Imagine that Jartex becomes 1.9-1.12, I bet the players will quit. (Especially Factions and kit-pvp. XD)

1.8 and the versions below till 1.5 are the best.
1.9 and above have screwed Minecraft PVP and to be honest I hate updates...
Minecraft should not be updated so frequently cause there are many freaky and useless new things coming up..
Don't even ask me what's the use of Polar bears!!

100% most factions players would quit as it would make pvp almost impossible.
