Maybe use exp boosters, or spin crates and get +1-5% level cost. I can sell u some if u want. I am stuck at lvl 41

Most people say that cutting wood in the forest is the fastest but you have to have a really good axe, otherwise it will be wery slow.
So untill you have a really good axe I think you will get exp faster by farming.

Grind wood and get a better axe
Sadly it's the only option till lvl 50 ig

Dont use level costs so early on the game.

farm wheat 1-20
farm carrot 1-45
forage oak lvl 45-(whatever birch requirement is)
forage birch till lvl 85
then say skibidi and mine
and then just use your experience boost thingies and quit the game
