the minion enchanted gold is different then regular enchanted gold

You are quite correct, they are different for one has glint and other does not

​

But one of them has an use which is exclusive to it
The enchanted gold bar with glint can be used for purchasing boss totems whereas enchanted gold without glint cannot be

boss shop

When you mine in Viking village you get enchanted gold with glint which can be used for purchasing boss totems from boss shop
The enchanted gold which minions give doesnt have glint and cant be used in boss shop

minions

Although both of these "enchanted gold" can be used for upgrading minions
both of them have same description too but heres where Jartex got it wrong
Description for enchanted gold which you get from minions says that you mined it from boss world which is incorrect
Its should instead say that you got it from minions
