I have seen a thread about the necessary enchants required for a good sword can someone repost or give me some tips?

Im not expert in enchants, but i will tell you basic.
1st you need to tell us what sword you whant, theres a lot enchants to put in sword.
Normal like sharpness you get in kits or tradicional enchanting table.
Max its 10 costums enchants for weapon or tool.
To put more you need enchanted orb.
There are also scrolls you can use to protect, secure and imortalise sword.
So the question is what sword you whant?
Pvp, grinding, bosses kill, 2 in 1?
you can also use /enchants , and see what realy its good for you.

All enchantments are good, what changes is the objective.
In my opinion making a sword with all the enchants is absurd.
but it's just my opinion, because it requires using an absurd number of enchanted orbs.
Normally we make 3 swords: 1 for grinding, 1 for pvp and 1 for boss world.
But this season, since someone had the bright idea to remove the inventory keep, i agree with you, the boss sword should also needs pvp op.
It wasn't enough, the difficulty of the levels now we still have to worry about thieves. I must say that I don't agree at all with this decision, there is the pvp area in the spawn and the fps, for me it was enough.
But answering your question:
For boss world i use: god sword with Muscular, Rage , Fast turn, coins, thor, nutricion, ice aspect, whend i get in last island i will get galaxy enchants like double damage. for max boss damage you need sword and hunter level, ice wizard max set.
For grinding i use god sword with inquisit, mobslayer. mobheads, headless, coins, stars, nutricion, etc
For pvp (this im not a good adviser because i dont PVP) you need use block, vampire, disarmor, thor, double damege, ice aspect, enchants like that. i realy not good at pvp.
Always protect, secure and imortal.
For a 1 op sword a good max set.
Op sword with a bad set its useless.
